Born into an outdoor family, I began camping at the age of 2, backpacking at 9, and leading kayak groups by 13. My family owned an outfitting store where I worked for seven years helping people gear up for adventures ranging from hiking the Appalachian Trail to elk hunting in Montana. A life-long firearms enthusiast, I’m the “normal guy” on the team at Recoil Junkies and currently don’t compete other than with the bulls-eye that constantly eludes me. Unusual older guns excite me more than the latest and greatest, but my safe has plenty of room for both.
Sports: Hiking, Backpacking, Camping, Climbing, Kayaking, Sporting Clays when I feel like hurting my ego
